Dr. Neil Lawrence (U of Guelph 2002) was born on Manitoulin Island and has practiced vet medicine in Orangeville and Trinidad. Dr Neil has called Callander Animal Hospital home since 2005, and became the proud owner in 2018 when Dr Ron retired.
 

 

Dr. Steve Hotten (U of Guelph 2002) is hanging his hat with us, and we are ecstatic! Besides his traditional medicine repertoire, Dr Hotten also has training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapies, food therapy, and laser therapy. Welcome aboard, Dr Steve!

Dr. Nancy Shand (OVC 1976) has heard the calling of beautiful Northern Ontario and is moving up here Spring 2019. Dr Nancy brings with her a wealth of knowledge, most recently in Emergency Medicine. Dr Nancy has added some wonderful talents with exotic pets to our clinic, and we've had a few pot-bellied pigs in for surgeries this year! Welcome aboard, Dr Nancy!

Callander Animal Hospital has the best staff, hands down. This wonderful caring team has been working hard to help keep up with a very busy schedule, especially when we were down to just one vet.
